SWOOP is ISO27001 certified

At SWOOP Analytics we take security very seriously. We’ve been working hard over the past year to ensure our customers’ data is protected to the world’s highest standards. We’re proud to tell you SWOOP Analytics has achieved ISO 27001 certification this week.

ISO 27001 is a globally recognised information security standard which lays out the requirements for a comprehensive Information Security Management System. Certification is only given to organisations that have successfully been independently audited for compliance.

Gaining ISO 27001 certification ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information that organisations control and process. ISO 27001 also applies a risk management process so organisations can manage risk.

SWOOP is in the business of analysing data entrusted to us by our customers and SWOOP CEO Cai Kjaer says protecting this information is of utmost importance.

“While we were confident our security controls were strong, we were aware the time had come for an independent external review,” he said.

“The success of SWOOP is 100 per cent dependent on the trust our customers have in the way we protect the information they have allowed us to analyse.

“Achieving ISO 27001 certification was an important first step and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to information security.”
