SWOOP Analytics is an Australian company based in Sydney. We passionately believe in the power of collaboration and people networks to get work done. By analysing data from a variety of sources we provide employees and management with unique insights to make informed and evidence-based decisions about collaboration and the health of your social networks.
SWOOP is the result of more than 10 years of consulting experience in mapping organisational networks. Based on more than 100 projects we have identified the most compelling and valuable metrics than help organisations drive collaborative business performance.
Cai Kjaer, CEO & Co-founder
Cai has extensive experience in social network analysis, consulting, software design and development. As a co-founder and partner in Optimice, he has been the driving force behind the development of the leading social network analysis survey platform ONA Surveys and a range of social network visualisation software solutions. Since forming Optimice in 2006 with Laurence Lock Lee he has been involved in 100+ social network mapping projects and has used this experience to make SWOOP a uniquely compelling platform for social network analytics.
Dr Laurence Lock Lee, Chief Scientist & Co-founder
Laurie has a PhD from University of Sydney. With more than 35 years of experience in management consulting, he is considered an international reference on the themes of knowledge management, corporate social capital and social network analysis. He has academic assignments in Australia and Europe and several publications in international magazines. Laurie is co-founder and partner of Optimice where he also is involved in delivering social network analysis consulting projects.
Marianne Kjaer, Director Customer Success & Co-founder
Marianne is leading all customer success related activities at SWOOP. She has moved from administering large council budgets to ensuring all of our customers get the most of out of SWOOP, and she brings a wealth of experience in delivering our clients a seamless and efficient service. Marianne holds a Master of Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Marcus is a serial tech entrepreneur and has had multiple successes with his ventures. Most notably eDIME Internet Agency which he founded and sold to Computer Sciences Corp (CSC) in 2000. At which time was the largest provider of Internet strategy and sites to Federal Government with 25 departments and agencies outsourced including Prime Minister, AEC, Defence, ASIO, ATSIC, DVA and many others. Marcus was co-founder of Revolution CD, a second-hand music and software store chain. His diversified business interests range from climate change related technology, e-health, complex data, advanced materials, cloud software, mentoring youth, electronic music and promoting the Global Village Canberra region & its high tech enterprises. He conducts these through various ventures & companies including not-for-profit entities. His board experience is balanced - sitting on government committees, business boards of startups, scientific & non-for profit public and private organisation boards & committees. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
Dr. Eileen Doyle
Eileen has had an exceptional career in large corporations that has spanned more than three decades. She had an executive career in the steel and building materials industries and is now a professional company director. Eileen is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the NSW Council and National Governance Committee. She was Chairman of Port Waratah Coal Services from 1998 until 2009 and a Director of OneSteel from 2000 until 2010. Eileen's present roles include Chairman, Hunter Research Foundation, Deputy Chairman, CSIRO and Director, Boral Ltd, GPT Group and Bradken Ltd. She has also had a long history of being a business angel and working with inventors and small businesses to introduce and grow their products.
One of the most recognisable faces in Australian IT, Len joined the industry in 1963 and has held senior roles in numerous IT services companies. In 1979 he joined the technology analyst firm IDC as managing director, and over the following 19 years became a keen observer of the evolution of IT within Australian business and government, and across the Asia Pacific region. Since leaving IDC Len has become an integral component of the Australian IT sector, through involvement with the AIIA and as a driving force behind the Pearcey Foundation. Len is currently the executive director of the consulting organisation Dialog Technology Management, and he continues to shape the Australian IT sector through his popular weekly Rust Report.
